I did, however, make sure I had the required video card and memory before purchasing. There really is something for everyone here, and none that I don't like. The overall theme is pirates."AAAaRRRgh", and several games tap into that. Gorgeous graphics, innovative bonus rounds, and clever themes make for hours of fun.
I've not had any problems with this game. Raja's Rupees has a lush feel of India.gorgeous graphics, and Tunzamunny is a funky blend of Egyptian and Sci-fi that has to be seen to be believed.
Blackbeard's Revenge is one of the best entertainment buys I've ever made for $20. From swashbuckling adventures, to dark and scary pirates, to hilarious pirate parodies.
Just make sure your computer meets the requirements before purchasing. This game is a slot lover's dream.
Don't get the wrong idea about this game from the negative reviews. My favorite is Kash Kong, a take on King Kong, with cool art deco graphics and a great bonus round.
I find this a real pain in the you know what. For Pete's sake, what do they think they are saving. This thing is going back, I'm not going to put up with this. There is nothing more aggravating that paying full price for a CD then find out that the legitimate purchaser has to put a CD in the drive everytime you want to play. Every copy of Windows comes with disk duplication software with a Help button that tells you how to use it. It is so easy and cheap to simply buy a blank and make a copy of the CD if someone wanted to.
SO BEWARE IF YOU BUY THIS PROGRAM YOU MIGHT HAVE THE SAME PROBLEMS. THIS GAME LOOKED LIKE A GOOD ONE, EXCEPT YOU NEED TO HAVE A NEWER COMPUTER WITH AT LEAST TWO GIG OF MEMORY.I WAS UNABLE TO BOOT PROGRAM ON COMPUTER RECIEVED APPLICATION ERROR. INFORMATION FOR WHATS REQUIRED SHOULD BE POSTED ON ALL THE SOFTWARE SOLD. VERY UNHAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT.
We love having bonus rounds and all these machines have them. They are the best. We have all the Phantom EFX slots machine games. To bad they only come out with games once a year.
After one month I am still waiting for a "patch" from Phantom. I called them and they said they would email me when it was available.zilch.The problem, as stated by their tech, is that I have an "older" AMD chip in my Gateway. Shame on them. I ordered this because I loved Mystic Forest. Duh,what am I , a testing site. Amazon immediated replaced it. The First Blackbeard I got did not work; sent it back. Very, very, very disappointed.
