This handles all of them. They can be "evil" because you have to make sure they don't interfere your other software or slow you computer to a crawl. It works well. This program comes with regular updates and gives you peace of mind.

It installed easily on our laptop using MS Vista. (In the past, I've paid for a registry cleaner alone for $30/year. and it offers a "clutter" cleaner for your computer. Spyware. Why advertise rebates if you end up having to jump through multiple hoops in order to receive them. I've contacted McAfee and have been given a "number to call". Anyway, everything works fine. I just wish that I wouldn't get those annoying pop up's that continually remind me that "your computer is not fully protected". I bought the McAfee VirusScan 2008 one month ago,strong anti-virus program ,a little heavy on PC during the opening of some programs ,generally strong program & recommend.

I found it to be one of the best anti-viruses in less price.it keeps my computer safe while I am surfing the net, when I am on network and prompts me wherever it feels the app i am accessing may be harmful for my laptop which is cool.the only small issue that I see with this is it made my laptop a bit slow at the time of restart and opening any app for the first time, may be it scans that app internally before it opens it.but overall a good deal.

McAfee VirusScan Plus 2008 is pretty much your typical virus protection as you surf the web. I like my virus scanners to do their job but stay in the background and not take any (noticeably) additional CPU power. VirusScan does this, but most other freeware virus scanners do as well if not better. I'm sure it's better than their previous versionI just don't know how.
